$ 1.4 million in corruption related to the Salkhit silver deposit has been turned into state revenue
The Anti-Corruption Agency confiscated $ 1,445,200 in the course of an investigation into a corruption case involving the Salkhit silver deposit.
The Anti-Corruption Agency of the Ministry of Finance issued a decision on April 7, 2021, according to the decision of the Khan-Uul District Criminal Court of First Instance 2020 (SDC) No. 319 to convert USD 1,445,200 into state revenue. The confiscated money was transferred to the budget revenue account in the treasury.
During the investigation, the Anti-Corruption Agency reimbursed MNT 35.6 billion in damages during the investigation in 2020, and sealed property and cash valued at MNT 10,112,736.4 million, including real estate, movable property, apartments, vehicles and equipment.
